Mapping a Path:
Advising for 8th, 9th, and early 10th grades
Early planning helps students explore high school opportunities, discover new interests, and build a solid foundation of college preparation. We provide consultation with students and families, typically once per semester, on the following:
- Planning course selections
- Reviewing learning styles
- Addressing study skills and time management
- Identifying extracurricular and summer opportunities
- Reviewing transcripts
- Deciding on any early subject testing (AP, SAT II)
